She's right about the doctors in Michigan, even the lyme literate doctors aren't lyme literate in Michigan.

Even when a drug like disulfiram is helping so many, Dr. L in Saginaw won't even use it, the supposed "best lyme doctor" in michigan.

The other two, Dr. Z in Romeo doesn't treat or isn't educated in babesia or bartonella, Dr. M in Keego just treats with low dosage minocycline, aka monotherapy. How Mino supposed to target persister cells and a drug resistance parasite like Babesia is beyond me...

All three doctors are over the hill, in their 70s, question is what happens to them once they pass or retire? I honestly have no clue how most Michiganders with lyme are getting by... Even Whitsett, I wouldn't be surprised if she also orders her drugs overseas...

The whole medical system is garbage, this is all we needed to show us how unprepared we are for outbreaks like this.

I was listening to what ex-Navy Seal Dan Crenshaw was hinting to on Joe Rogan, as he said China got caught blocking masks from being delivered out by 3M, when the outbreak happened China banned domestic travel but allowed international travel, let chinese people travel to major cities like new york and detroit where the major epicenters are... And then they also had a Chinese rep at WHO claim that coronavirus isn't transmissable back in January. Who on earth would say that if they're a scientist when most viruses are?

I think what Stanford writer was hinting to, on the lines than Russia or another country has been possibly unleashing more infected ticks over here, but trying to blame it on our own government with our past shady history with project paperclip.

My honest opinion this is possibly how World War 3 may get played out or if you want to call it a cold war, as if these countries use nukes, they'll just end up killing us all and making it uninhabitable. With biowarfare it's much more strategic, especially if you read this article

What is this with the blood type Trumps talking about with lyme? lol I think he's confused and mixing the importance of blood types with corona and thinking it's just as important with lyme as well.

In the 10 years studying this disease, I never heard blood types mattering... But hey, maybe that German knows more about this project paperclip pathogen than we think, he definitely seems to understand how sick lyme patients have gotten and that long term antibiotic treatment does work, weird, very weird...

What's important is the persister cells, biofilms, and the coinfections. That's what's keeping people sick, reminds me of those that still think mold, parasites, heavy metals, and everything else under the sun is what's keeping them sick.

It would be more accurate/fair to say that altered body systems due to Lyme makes patients more sensitive to mold, heavy metals, etc... keeping them sick .

Yeah this is really blowing up in all of the Lyme groups that I'm aware of (probably just as intended). It's totally unnecessary. Nothing substantial here

I've written it before, but HIV and AIDS activists in the 1980s and '90s demanded research and money be directed toward an answer to that health condition. That movement received a lot of attention because so many got involved and demanded it be recognized.

People died from HIV/AIDS there was a clear link. Body bags get attention.
