Have you been evaluated for mold? Mold exposure and/or mold toxicity from past exposure can prevent people from making progress.
Failing to treat coinfections like bartonella and babesia can also cause a stalemate.
Parasites, dental cavitations, and heavy metal toxicity are other known impediments in the recovery process.
I remember reading or hearing Dr. Jones (pediatric Lyme doctor) say that you have to find all the infections/issues and treat them simultaneously or they won’t get well. That’s easier said than done, especially if you’re an adult who was sick for years before even knowing it was Lyme. By the time you find out, your body’s a dysfunctional mess.
I think a lot of times, we tend to try a certain approach (ex- treat Lyme with abx) for a while, and if we don’t seem to make progress, we think maybe it’s not Lyme and try something else (ex. - treat bartonella).
The people I have seen on here who really seemed to recover based on what they said, did it all simultaneously or didn’t have as many issues to treat as others, but diet, exercise, lifestyle changes, treating infections, supporting immune system, supplementing vitamins/minerals, etc were all involved.
