i have taken reduced glutathione in doses of 500mg or 1000mg / day for extended periods without really noticing any great effect - then stopped as it's expensive and did not justify the expense for me.
the form I took was Swanson's L-Glutathione - not the liposomal version that Dr H likes ( even more expensive ) -
of course, others may have different exp
I am in any case supplementing with NAC about
2.6g / day
and ALA - around 600mg / day
so I reasoned I am already supplementing that detox route
also taking MSM which aids detox and may contribute
I also take vitamin C, Vitamin E and Vitamin A which are all part of this same cascade and supposed to help recycle these anti-oxidants
the reason I tried it was Dr H's book and the fact that I had an OAT test showing extremely low levels of Glutathione, oxidative damage etc
