Covid Vaccine

I along with my husband received our second dose of the Pfizer Covid vaccine last week. We discussed the subject at length and decided it was the right thing for us to do. This is a very personal decision for everyone. The only side effects we experienced were a sore arm, mild headache and fatigue after the second dose.

I got my first shot of Pfizer about 3 hours ago and haven't felt anything yet. Obviously comes down to personal preference/opinion. For what it's worth my LLMD opinion was to not get it.

My LLMD said not to get it either.

Are you scheduled for a booster?

I got the first Pfizer shot here in Los Angeles. I have the second one in a week. No side effects other than a mildly sore arm on the first one.

My LLMD was 50/50 on the vaccine but ultimately said it's unlikely to hurt anything and won't interact with Lyme as an mRNA vaccine. I don't know if she (the Lyme Doc) is getting it. Sounded like maybe not.

I am skeptical of anything rolled out so quickly and certainly can see why people would want to wait, but I need to travel and work. I don't want to get covid. I've had close friends and relatives die from it. I also had a very unhealthy Aunt with heart disease and on dialysis get covid and it didn't take her out - much to our surprise. So who knows. Time will tell. In the meantime I look forward to flying to see my family next week and getting back to traveling around the world when it's not a pain in the ass.
