gross question about parasites, ivermectin, lyme.

hello friends, I have had lyme and coinfections for many years.
something strange is that I have several bowel movements per day. this has been going on for years.
sometimes as many as 5 or 6 per day.

recently I took ivermectin for covid.
however, ever since i finished the ivermectin, now I keep having diarrhea.
not all the time, which is strange to me.
some days I do, some days I don't. but most days I do.

I don't know why. does this mean I have parasites?
did the ivermectin maybe start a parasite killing process that I didn't finish?
I still have just as many bowel movements.

for me ivermectin hit my giardiasis...which in turn was the cause of the loose caboose....have u ever been to the sw or mexico?

Oh, wait . . . . Did you mean that you actually were sick with COVID? Diarrhea is a symptom of COVID. The one local person I know who had it said diarrhea was the worst part for her.

With covid, I got diarrhea the first day or two. After that I took atovaquone and it went away. Some people have complained that mepron can cause diarrhea but I never had an issue with it.

If you think you are persistently infected with covid, it might be worth trying atovaquone or nitazoxanide, which are known to directly inhibit viral replication.

Ivermectin proposes many potentials effects to treat a range of diseases, with its antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-cancer properties as a wonder drug. It is highly effective against many microorganisms including some viruses. In this comprehensive systematic review, antiviral effects of ivermectin are summarized including in vitro and in vivo studies over the past 50 years. Several studies reported antiviral effects of ivermectin on RNA viruses such as Zika, dengue, yellow fever, West Nile, Hendra, Newcastle, Venezuelan equine encephalitis, chikungunya, Semliki Forest, Sindbis, Avian influenza A, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome, Human immunodeficiency virus type 1, and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
