I would treat every mosquito bite just like any other tick bite. It's like a tick on wings.
Boehner also recommends applying some kind of special paste directly onto the bite site.
Every mosquito bite?? Thats not possible for many people lol.
Im guessing you've not been exposed to / visited / or lived in places like upper Wisconson, Michigan, Minnesota and Alaska? If they were as bad as ticks, then everyone in those states would have these infections, but they dont. These states have swarms sometimes in the perfect season for them. , its not avoidable.
Since the drought has also hit the upper med-west states from spring onward, there was/is once minimal to almost zero skeeters, only good part of a drought is puddles dry up. Skeeters lay eggs in puddles and small ponds, bogs ect , they cant lay eggs that hatch successfully in moving water, not even lakes with waves or moving currents. Last week it finally rained up north vs sprinkled, so skeeters are coming soon. : (
