Strange symptom??

Thank you all for your kindness in answering my disjointed questions. Wondering if any of you have had pain just beneath the skin (almost like being bruised) when you bump into something or when someone bumps into you. When my toddler jumps on me or bumps into me (on my arm or leg) it feels very painful like being bruised. No bruise forms from this, but it is painful. Wondering if this is experienced by others.

its a common symptom of lyme - maybe other co-infections that effect nerves also - or more likely a kind of auto-immune / auto-inflammatory responses caused by inflammation triggered by the infection.

I have had this, although not everywhere simultaneously. Before I saw an LLMD, this neurological symptom was why I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. These infections can affect our nerves in very strange ways! I also have had periods that I've been prone to nerve damage that takes ages to heal. I got nerve damage in my feet three times from acupuncture, for example, that remained sore like a very bad bruise for months. My acupuncturist used the smallest possible needles, and I got acupuncture hundreds of times, so I don't blame the acupuncturist at all - just mentioning this as an example of how fragile my nerves were.
