Also, Brucella came back just barely high, and WBF had mentioned Brucella once before.
I didn’t remember that, LOL, so I spent some time searching the net about
brucella. I found that it has been known to cause chronic (some believed incurable) and relapsing illness for decades. I saw papers as far back as the 1950’s. It was known to be caused by consumption of raw milk (especially sheep and goats) and from contact with infected animals.
The symptoms do sound very like what you have described including fevers, weight loss, depression, headaches, and much more.
I wonder why we don’t hear more about
it from the Lyme doctors. It seems to be serious, debilitating, known for chronicity and relapses following treatment, and difficult to treat successfully.
It’s amazing how much bias there is in medicine. The articles I looked at went way back in time, were from many countries, and
openly acknowledged chronicity, difficulty in diagnosis, immune suppression, multi non-specific symptoms, and congenital transmission. Because it wasn’t originally associated with ticks, there was no political bias there.
With Lyme, there’s extreme political bias trying to deny the same expression of borrelia infection. Then you have the LLMDs and ILADS focusing all their efforts on Lyme while giving little to no attention to some of the coinfections which infected people in ways other than ticks before Lyme even had a name.
I would really look for more information on brucella and find out who is treating it successfully and how.
