DNRS might help, but not quickly. And you probably want these episodes to stop quickly! I know they are such miserable symptoms.
I have had an episode after eating broccoli (with a lot of stems) and brown rice, which are irritating for the FODMAP-sensitive. That said, I'm being driven crazy by trying to evaluate everything I eat to see what is causing which symptoms, and definitely wish I knew of a remedy to stop the symptoms and let me eat more than a few foods! The only thing that helps some days is cromolyn sodium, and I'm glad to have that, but I'd rather figure out the underlying issues rather than use a "band aid" treatment long-term. I do suspect that if I had an hour per day to devote to yoga, DNRS, and other healthful practices, and just had less stress, then I'd be doing better.
I'm going to stop implying that I know what I'm talking about. ;)
I'll be following this thread! May your intestines be reliable ASAP!
