” You do what you have to do, Girlie. NOTHING is worth risking Lyme getting worse” I wished that was true. As the “healthy” one in our household, I need to make more money and constantly push myself to my limit. Without making more money we can’t afford supplements, treatment, organic food, and a high rent.
I study full time, help my girlfriend with her company, 2.5 hours a week as a mentor and spend a lot of time on web development for the moment. Going to send in a project tomorrow and apply for a job in web development, if I don’t get it I'm picking up another student to be a mentor for.
I'm a bit nervous if I get the job but they need me to spend at least 10 hours a week there to get it, as I don’t think I would be able to handle that with the other jobs I have also…. But there is a big risk I won't get it as they normally don’t have any people working less than full time, where I'm applying through a contact.
With high stress, I need to spend a lot of time on mindfulness exercises and my sleep to be able to function, but my current situation isn't that great long term, with a big risk for burnout.
CalmLittleBuddha, I would definitely do a lot of mindfulness before and after work to compensate for the sensory overload.
Starting every day with a cold shower, yoga, and a Wim Hof breathing exercise really helps as I then make sure that I always get in some time for myself even if I have a hectic day.
