Itching bumps all over. Need detectives eye.

Hello.
I was wondering if anyone has expierience with severe itchy bumps.

I had started when I was about two week in to antibiotic treatment/ herbal treatment. ( jk Sandro cats claw) For Lyme pos tick bite plus a long term Lyme plus infection.

I stopped trestment because the itching was intolerable. It would flare on back of neck little bite then somewhere else arm pits vagina but crack legs mid back.

I also was out with some serious knots one night. At first I thought them.

So I’m guessing a reaction to the bites. Or a reaction to abx. Or herbs.

I think I’ll start up again with first herbs then add back abx or something to see if anything provoked the same response.

I also had vertigo for a couple days. Possibly related or a coincidental cervicsl vertebrae dysfunction. I did have headaches and go to chiro which helped.


My plan was to take abx for sec real weeks to try to prevent new infection then continue to tray yo get rid of my chronic symptoms.

Oh the layers.

i am guessing this means toy are / were taking Andrographis

Andrographis is known for causing a hypersensitivity reaction in a small percentage of individuals characterised by itching lumps (hives) on the skin.

from you description this sounds very much like what you have bene experiencing

it can be mild to severe and typically takes a few weeks to fully settle down after discontinuing the herb.

BTW - Buhner has later removed it from his primary lyme protocols for this reason - but also because it has not been particularly effective as an antispirochetal herb (acc to his books, it was initially included in his protocols for Lyme due to some evidence that it was effective against syphilis).
it still has some use as a bile stimulant and CNS inflammation lowering herb.

Ahh. I think Garzie deciphered this correctly. I thought “Sandro” might have been samento. I was about to say check to see if anything you’re taking has andrographis in it and stop that. Andrographis can cause hives.

Sounds like some kind of parasites die off reaction.
If so over time it should ease up.
What do you think it is?

Did you stop the andrographis? Has there been any improvement? If it’s an allergic reaction to the andrographis (which it sounds like), it could take a few weeks for the hives to completely go away.

Have you tried taking Zyrtec?

Hi guys.

I stopped both the ceftin and the core caps containing Andrographis.
Just started up ceftin again two days ago.
Will go a couple weeks and add in the core.

I’ve been on both for many months/ years in past so I was not expecting any reaction like that.

about ten min after this reply the itching is starting… might be the abx. My chest. Lil bumps I’ll see how tommarow goes.
