LLMD in CT?

CT is the Mecca for Lyme and there are several LLMD here, but apparently the one I found isn't great. Looking for someone who comes recommended. Thank you

Dr SP - author of the book "Chronic" is in CT i think - and seems like a good one
Yale medical school educated if i remember correctly -but independent thinker - v pragmatic

Oh yes I saw him come up. Dr. S. P.…. I read his appointments are around $1500. I’m wondering if anyone here has any experience with him. I’d love to hear.

i am in the UK - so no direct experience

initial appointments with LLMD's are typically very long eg 2hrs and therefore costs are typically something close to this range for the more well known LLMD's

PS - we try not to use LLMD's full names here as many of them are pursued by medical boards and forced to shut up shop

Several?? I only found 2 LLMD's in CT. Dr. P.S office was a nightmare , as his nurse treats patients like they're garbage and you have to do what they say , or else. I cursed the nurse out, this was after she called me "hypervigilant after she argues with me" before that , ai asked her a question and she said we but heads too much, like *** it was so insane. Pls dont waste your money or time there. After 1 yr with them , they still didnt start me on meds and say your case is too complex when they know what theyrr working with because you have your 1st inital apptm with them.I see Dr. T.M in Berlin, CT and I have no complaints, his office is pretty amazing I'd say. He's quick on switching up treatment plans or abx if something isn't working out.

You can go to Dr. Phillip's website, click the resources tab, and then open the new patient form to see what the prices would be. In short, they are outrageous. They are outrageous in general but even more so if seeing the actual doctor. 675$ for a 30 minute follow-up appointment. 2500$ to see the doctor for initial consult...lol. These are predatory prices and make me doubt his authenticity.

For reference, I go to one of the, so-called, expert Lyme clinics in the country in the Jemsek clinic. They are located in downtown D.C. so not a low cost of living area. Their prices are far more reasonable.

I have Steven Phillip's book "Chronic". It is a decent book, but he details his general treatment regimen and there is nothing special about it IMO. Of course, if he can get you better, and relatively quickly, it is money well spent, but I would be majorly suspicious due to the pricing.

Oh what a nightmare. Honestly I read the bad reviews and figured. I’ll look up the Berlin Doctor. I am seeing one now Dr. S in Bridgeport and I heard he’s a scam artist ugh. I’m a nurse and this makes me sick that it’s this hard and no insurance covers if.

I know right lol? I'm a nurse assistant, well was buy am too sick and screwed up now so haven't worked with my company in about 1 yr . Dr. T.M is amazing, I don't regret spending my money . It used to be 427 per visit as of Jan 2023 he want up to $515 per office visit. Outrageous is not the word. I need to scroung up every scrapping of money just to see these mfs buy at the end of the day I need to do this or else I feel I'll die if I don't get treatment . Forgot to mention at Dr. S.P office you'll end up being made to see one of the nurses and not be able to see Dr. S.p due to the outrageous prices or due to him not taking "new patients" and rather telling you you're welcome to see one of his nurses though. I think her name was Sarah and she was the rudest most inconsiderate person I've ever met, who had really no idea what she was talking about. She did do some good testing g on me and I appreciated it, but rather tested me for wierd diseases and things I don't nor had symptoms of and I'm like huh.

I’m with Dr. T in Berlin as well. Been in treatment for 1 year with him. 1 year with another group. I am getting better. Combo Abx and herbs.

Well that's great to here, it gave me some more confidence hearing this since I'm also in this offic!
