there was some discussion on the forum of this new vaccine

i hadn't followed the story much - but i was surprised to hear that they have targeted the same antigen again as the last vaccine - that made people ill.

seems odd given that the previous one was both a medical and commercial failure.

I would avoid this. A friend of mine, who's also a fellow Lymie, told me it will use one of the more potent OSP (outer surface proteins) to teach the immune system. Her research suggested this was a very risky idea. Her father was an MD, so she's not new to medical research.
