Fenbendazole experience

Thanks for sharing your experience WalkingbyFaith. It looks like we all get different reactions to fenben. Perhaps they depend on which tissues are infected mostly?

I think initially you need more than just 4 days off. I'd say 4 days + 1 week. Then another 3 days ON and 11 days off. Eventually you may want to try to reduce the number of days off. When I've tried doing 3 days on, 4 days off, I felt that the stuff that got stirred up by the first 3 days off, didn't fade away by fourth day off and starting a new cycle simply overloaded body's ability to deal with the rubbish that got stirred up. Just my way of seeing it.

RC: I took a break. Was on too many things at once and I started suffering from chronic insomnia despite high doses of melatonin. I'll resume taking Fenben once things stabilize a bit.

Does anyone know why it's exactly 222 mg? That seems like a very specific number.

I'm asking because I found Fenbendazole 250 mg and was wondering if that's ok or too much?

If my math is right it's 12.61% more.

Thank you so much carlnpa! Yes it was one of those brands, I think it was panacur. I have the link on my other device but can't find it right now. That's good to know that the dosage isn't strictly critical. Thanks again!

I'm trying a new approach with fenbendazole - I lowered dose to 100mg daily. This dose level for me is not causing any negative side affects such as eye discomfort, muscle pains or headaches.
21 days continuous as of today.

I believe this is a useful biofilm breaker. There are published papers that support this view.

I have seen further improvement in my vision.

I am now rotating through the abx as a planned change, in the past they were changed when they became intolerable. I really also suspect our bugs are develping resistance with months/years of the same abx.

Low dose naltrexone (LDN) showed me that less can be more therapeutic. I also suspect LDN is causing me dosing problems with the abx, acting as an inhibitor, meaning it makes the abx appear to be more potent.

Today I am taking LDN, diethylcarbamzine, a reduced dose of clarithromycin and a reduced dose of nitofurantoin, roxithromycin and the 100mg fenben. ++++ supplements etc.

Today - Mentally and physically I am working my butt off. I feel better.

Two months ago I crashed out of clarithromycin and ended - felt terrible - started mino.

One month ago I crashed out of the mino and ended - felt terrible - restarted clarithromycin + DEC a week later added the reduced fenben.

I just took the 3rd dose of another round today. I really feel like I should keep taking it instead of stopping. How many days straight is it safe to take?

Fri, Sat, Sun are my 3 days per week that I take Fluconazole. Is it safe to take it on the same days as Fenben or not?

Yeah. I recently learned Fluconazole has some risk of long QT, but not as much as some other azoles. I just saw the cardiologist a couple weeks ago and mentioned it, so he did an EKG. It was normal.

I asked because I assume there’s no way to look up drug interactions with Fenben. It is an -azole, but apparently not all azole drugs are alike. Do you know anything about the risk of long QT from Fenben?

The Panacur-C comes in a box with 3 packets. The original method of treatment and what is prescribed for parasites is 1 packet for 3 days straight. The Tippins protocol originally was 3 days on, 4 days off, but apparently the cancer patients now are using it more continuously or with shorter breaks.

For me, I find I feel better while on it, but within days after stopping, I feel worse. So, I thought I would try taking it for 6 days straight and see how it goes. I am on probably my 6th round, and I still have the same bowel effects from it, so clearly it’s hitting stuff in my gut. I want it to keep doing that.

Ivermectin anthelmintic dose .The dose is usually 150 micrograms (mcg) per kilogram (kg) of body weight taken as a single dose. I have never noticed any side effects at all, very well tolerated.

For 200 lb person 13.5 mg, 100 lb person 6.75 mg, single dose.

I am taking ivermectin daily at this dosage for babesia treatment (+more abx ++).

Fenbendazole

Easily tolerated, and at high doses, (see attached) unless you have bartonella. lyme, babesia.

3 days at 250mg with food, plan on a break for at least 4 days.

HTH both of these are excellent anthelmintics.

as per previous posts - the dosing of 222mg is largely just because that's a common available dose.

because its largely a drug for animals there are not the formal dosing trails in humans to establish what the dose should be.
instead there are only informal trials by self experimenters to go by - and these are naturally enough - mainly starting at the more cautious end of the scale

some people find they will get herx reactions at less than this and some will work up to much higher doses
without formal trails we don't know with any certainty what organism its active for - its more a case of people find it helps them - or that it doesn't
