Managing nausea and reflux side effects from long-term antibiotic treatment for Lyme

Hey Folks,

I've been on antibiotics for Lyme for 2 years, and have had chronic nausea and reflux the whole time. The only way I've found to manage this is to eat starchy bland foods, and thanks to this and the ups and downs of treatment I've gained a whopping 50 pounds. I spend huge amounts of energy managing nausea--it's very frustrating. I've been on minocycline, amoxicillin, mepron, doxycycline, azythromycin, and rifampin. Right now I'm on zythro and rifampin--I think the rifampin is actually helping b/c some of my bart symptoms seem to be resolving (after 2 months). I'd like to continue on it, but I'm just going out of my mind with the nausea and reflux. I'm sure I'm dealing with candida too, but supplementing with probiotics doesn't seem to help.

Does anyone have any advice for ways to manage nausea without just eating starch all the time? I've had success in the past with gluten/sugar/dairy free nutrition therapy, but I've had to abandon it completely to deal with the side effects of the medicine. I wish I could handle both at the same time--a healthy diet AND the antibiotics.
