I thought it had gone away for good, but now it's returned.
Any thoughts?
What causes? What cures?
Help!

I wish I knew what caused or cured it but dizziness has been one of my worst symptoms lately. I find that ginger tea sometimes helps, but I just wish it would go away!

My German Dr. who had lyme told me that he was walking like a drunk sailor. Lol. Yes me too I told him. I use to walk into walls. And trip over my own feet. It was like being on a boat, only I have sea legs.
This has to do with the brian and the lyme for sure. It throws everything off balance. This system goes away with treatment!

Thanks Marie. Good to know.
Does anyone want to explain this one - sometimes -- it seems to-- can't be sure --- to go away w/ exercise. If this is true, my only guess is oxygen to the brain? circulation etc up there?

I have had it too. Vertigo happened when my head changed position. Ataxia is the drunk sailor. I was walking from side to side catching myself on the walls in the hallway as I went. I would lean against walls and scoot along sometimes. Walls are your friend. It went away with treatment. Hope you see improvment soon. I believe it is the bacteria attacking your nerves - a neuro thing.

Dizziness was one of my worst symptoms as well. It feel awful being so dizzy and even when laying down. I used to feel like the ground would fall under me. The only thing that help, was treatment. Just another fun symptoms of lyme (I did not have co-infections). The dizziness was from the lyme, but it does eventually go away with treatment.

Dizziness has been really bad for me lately too. I was told that the herb Ginkgo Biloba was good to take. Have not tried it yet... if anyone knows anything...

my dizziness occurs when I turn my head, which is often as my neck pops a lot and i'm trying to work the kinks out!
