After reading Lab 257 I'm convinced Lyme came from Plum Island. Also some of the coinfections probably came from there too. They all strangely appeared around the same time as Lyme.

Let's see they gathered ticks from around the world and exotic tick borne diseases and experimented on them there with lax safety standards and Lyme just happens to spread out from that area.

It is interesting that you speak of this because one of my Lyme Dr's said the same thing!! I did not give it too much thought but it looks like he is not alone in this theory. I don't want this thread to get buried, lets get some more information on it.

Gosh I read that book too. But I could only get to page 40 or so and I was too upset. To think that we would hire a bio war chemist who worked for Hitler after World War Two. And to put him in charge of infectous disease to be used a a silent bomb. I mean...the ticks are not spread by deer. The Island has 150 diff. types of migrating birds. And they go from there to Lyme Ct. and all over.
Like Babesio was man made to wipe out heards of cattle. To hurt a civilization and knock out a major food source.
Lab 257 is very serious book that points a big finger at our own government for being stupid and being resp. for this problem. So maybe that is why the USDA is in hidding. Maybe this is why the whole Lyme thing is so political. And maybe this is why the CDC is pretending that there is not a epidemic in this USA. So that is why they made the blood test so stupid. So that everyone test negative...so therefore..there is no problem...

In San Antonio Texas they are studying Lyme as a bio war agent. It was home grown on Plum Island to get a really good strain of it that would be resistant to abx.
It was tested on animals in open air cages.
Look up Tularemia..that is another one that is spreadking all over the north east. It was killing my 23 year old yard men on the vineyard. Could not get off of that Island fast enough...gave that house away!
