My doctor in Seattle (Dr. Jenefer Huntoon) uses very strong plant and pancreatic enzymes to boost the immune system and get Lymes under control. Basically, very high potency protease (the plant digesting enzyme that digests protein) when taken away from meals will digest protein, bacteria, yeast, fungus, viruses, parasites, etc.
I couldn't tolerate antibiotics. So, I went the enzyme route and it worked for me. The program improved my Gamma Globulin levels and my Lyme's test is better. And, I feel much better.
One drawback to this approach is that the person needs to have a strong stomach. i.e. no heartburn, reflux, etc. If you have a strong stomach then, no problem. Otherwise, the strong enzymes can make the heartburn worse.
In some cases, Dr. Huntoon can help the person's stomach to heal and then have the person put the enzymes in water (so it is less likely to burn the stomach) and drink the concoction.
She might be willing to work with you by phone or teach your local doctor how to administer the enzymes.
