Pain in last RIB on the tip?

Hi All,

I have pain on both sides on the tips of my last ribs.  Anyone know have this or know what might be causing it?  Thanks, KO

I had what I thought was a heart attack... and then maybe panic attacks, but now I believe it is a muscle spasm. My rib cage feels like its crushing inward... and my heart feels like its going to be squeezed out of my chest. During these episodes, my rib cage really hurts. I cannot lie on my back - until the attack has completed ended - because the back of my ribcage hurts so bad. The last "lyme" thing I have been diagnosed with is bartonella. Maybe this is what is causing your rib pain????

Hi Jennifer,

How are you doing?  How did your last round of Rocephin go, did you see any improvements? 

 I have heard about people having "rib pain" with Bartonella, but I have never read a good description of the pain.  Is it muscular, bone pain, or on the surface in the rib area?  My pain feels more like bone pain.  When I run my fingers along the edge of my lowest rib about 1 1/2" from the lowest point and apply slight pressure I have pain which is sometimes more intense.  Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!
