For the past 5 days (probably related to adding Ceftin to a recent Biaxin and Plaquenil regimen), I've been accidentally screaming very loudly when things upset me.
I live with my boyfriend, who's in college (we live off-campus), and I've been screaming a lot at him, maybe 3 times a day. I'll accidentally scream once at something small, and then he'll get traumatized and tell me things like "I don't want you in my life when you're screaming like this," and I scream automatically every time he says something mean. Then he's shell-shocked for hours afterward, and I feel like he's trying to punish me for something that's not my fault.
I am sure this is hard on him. I wondered if you could offer anything to help him understand what's going on and how he can protect himself emotionally and not be traumatized. I can share your answers with him.

Have you sat down and explained the concept of herxing to him? Have you both watched the movie Under Our Skin? Those are the things I would start with if I were you...
Also, you might get more responses if you put a subject line in your posts.
Take care,

I would suggest you test your blood pressure, see if when you yell its related to a rise in blood pressure and if it is you can treat it, or it may just be a herx that will blow over soon but is very painful neverthless, this must be so difficult for you, please remember that you will get better

I have a friend whose husband take alot of walks. I told him the other day he needed to get a dog to have a better excuse. (: It actually works, just to take a break and come back when things calm down a bit. D
