CD57

I was diagnosed with cancer 13 years ago and underwent chemotherapy which had to be stopped as a result of multiple infections and hospitalizations. Since that time, I've developed diabetes, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, arthritis, optic neuritis, night sweats, depression, fevers, chills...and the list goes on. I feel as though I have a horrible case of the flu most of the time and my joints ache. I take over a dozen different medications to manage these illnesses. The pain is so bad that I have added percocets 4-5 times every day so I can function through the pain. Last week I went for some blood work and my CD57 panel came back with a level of 48. I've heard this could indicate Lyme disease. Does anyone know if this particular test result, along with my physical complaints, could affirm a lyme disease diagnosis?

I got into alot of trouble about this very topic..lol. But see if you can look for the post lyme and cancer. can't remember when, maybe oct or nov.

I think that what you need to do is work on your immune system. Everything that you listed is a immune disease. And once your system is knocked down with cancer and chemo, the rest fall like dominos.
It can get straighten out. The clinic that I was at deals with 50% cancer people with the same problem as you. And yes, most of them tested positive for lyme.
But you need to build up your immune sytem so that your body can take care of itself.
Also hearing great things about Dr. J's work. And he is less $ that my clinic.
