Antibiotics Withdrawal Symptoms?

Is it normal to feel bouts of anxiety and sometimes this woozy kind of dizzy feeling after lowering or stopping antiobitics? I've been on ceftin the past 2 months and only have a few pills left. I've lowered my dose to 1 pill a day for the next couple of days to prep my system instead of just suddenly stopping them all together. It kind of feels like my body has gotten addicted to these drugs. Are antibiotics habit forming like other drugs?

Hi virginialady76.  Are you being treated by a knowledgeable doctor?  How long were you sick before getting diagnosed?  What dose of Ceftin were you taking?

It is possible you have not been treated long enough and/or aggressively enough.  Two months of treatment is not very long if you have been infected for more than two weeks.  It is very important to get properly treated as early in the infection as possible.
