Children with Depression or Bi-Polar

If you have any experience with you kids having issues like this can you please share you stories or show me where an old post is (I know I have read in the past about some of your kids having these issues).  I have a friend who is going through this and I would like to show her that she is not alone in this.  I am trying to get her to join this forum, I know it would really help her.  Her sone is diagnosed with Lyme and is having bad problems.  They think he may have Major Depression or Bi-Polar and he is only 5 years old.  I feel so bad for her!

I have a 5 year old too, and last summer she ssat by the pool and told me that he life was just too sad anymore.
She had just been infected her second time that summer.
