sorry that this is a bit of a repeat post, but i think i have posted about it before and didn't hear anything back. though i might try again if no one minds.
i am just curious is severe, rosacea-like facial flushing is characteristic of lyme's?
facial flushing was the first of my symptoms and has continued to be one of the worst over the last two years. my docs say it is not rosacea, including a rosacea doc in my area, because of its sudden onset and how quickly it became quite severe. rosacea typically progresses over years, beginning with mild blushing and flushing, which i have never had.
however, my flushing is crazy! it can last up to ten hours, and involves burning pain.
my doctors offer no explanation other than my nervous system is out of whack and i cannot adjust to temperature changes. yet, i can find absolutely no literature about this or any disorder/disease that involves this as a symptom.
so i am wondering if anyone has had this or heard of it with lyme's.... thank you very much!
