Babesia Negativity/Cured Test

What tests does your doctor order to check if your Babesia either has been cured and out of your system?

Do they re-check for all the Babesia Anti-Body, FISH and PCR? or just one of these tests or perhaps two?

My LLMD just retested me in December 2008 with Igenex b microti antibody test

Hi Nexis. Any or all of these tests could be done. I would think the minimum test to do would be the one you tested positive on initally, but it is not a bad idea to do the other tests either. I would wait until the infection has been treated for some time and the symptoms seem to be resolved before retesting.
