I found a lot of info on the net that almost certainly contains the info I am looking for but since I'm not looking to go back to college for a molecular biology major to be able to understand and pick through it, I was hoping someone here might know the specific info I am looking for.
Two things:
1. What is the metabolic process of bacteria and, more specifically borrelia burgdorferi? By this, I mean, what kind of fuel does(or CAN) an individual Bb organism use for ongoing sustenance, and what kind of metabolism is it(aerobic, etc)? And where does such bacteria get it(ie, from host's blood, taking from host cells, etc). Does bacteria even need anything that it can't steal from a host cell that it has infected?
2. Same question more or less, but for human fat cells/adipocytes. Do these cells even have an ongoing need for energy?
