Hi, I really love your posts.  You gave me your email recently but it didn't work. I just started, mepron, azithro, artemisinin, cholestramyne, and probiotics. I was wondering if you would share with me your schedule. Not sure when to take what. I don't see LLMD until end of July. My doc here isn't sure.

I'm not pcpc, but I do know that if you are taking Mepron twice a day, you have to take your dosages 12 hours apart and make sure you eat something fatty with it like peanut butter, almonds, eggs, etc..

I have a bunch of medicine to take too and just started treatment. My pharmacist informed me to take everything at least 2 hours apart. Not to mix anything unless it says so on the presciption.

When I was on those meds I took Azithromycin and Mepron with breakfast and I drank some fish oil with it to ensure that I had enough fat with the Mepron. I took probiotics with lunch and Mepron with dinner. I used to make up a glass of cholestyramine and keep it by my bed and drank it in the night... you can not take it within 3 hours of the Mepron. When I was most sick I also took Mepron at 3 pm - 3 hours between lunch and dinner. I took the Artemesinin with meals- but have since learned that some docs recommend empty stomach- I take Zhang's Artemesiae 20-30 minutes before eating now.

Thank you PCPC your posts have been great to me. My husband is really urging me not to take the cholestyramine. It makes me bloat so bad. I haven't taken for a couple days I feel better.

Is there another way I can Detox good?

about the cholestyramine, take a break and see if symptoms worsen. If so retry but make sure you are using the form that is free of dyes and additives and artificial seeteners- the good one comes in a tub, the lousy one is yellow and comes in packets.

If you restart it you must keep your bowels moving with the ground flax seeds- good luck!
