I had the worse headache last night

I don't think I've ever had one this bad. The entire back of my head, the bottom part, by my neck, was hurting and felt swollen. It really scared me. I usually have a headache in my temples real bad. It's never been bad in the back of my head like that. The whole back of my head is still very sore and I feel like if I move wrong, it will start back up again.

I remember that the last time I was on antibiotics, I had a bad headache for two days and nothing would stop it. It was never this bad though. Ugh!

i have a headache right now, i don't know if its due to stress or anxiety or both.. but i sleep for 12 plus hrs each day, and at work i'm a zombie.

my headache was so bad last night i took my temperature at it was at 97.5 i have no idea about my spells.. but i'm ending up on death row real soon..

i hope your headaches get better... i was almost convinced it was mind over matter. but not anymore

Thanks James. I don't think you're on death row. I think you have all the classic Lyme symptoms. Did you see the symptom list yet?

CG, i am so sorry your hurting so badly, this is what i do when i get them. place a ice cold washrag around the back of the neck, and the forehead. lay down in a dark part of the house and no noise at all. you do have the gabapinton? take them. they work. if this doesnt help and it gets worse go to the ER, or at leat call your Dr.

Thanks hun. I took a natural supplement last night for the pain. It got rid of the worst but I still feel it lingering and I've been really nauseated. Smells are getting to me real bad.

I thought the neurontin took a while to work? I wonder if I can take that with the Ultram? I'm also wondering if it was the Depo shot I took yesterday that caused the headache. Who knows? LOL.

CG, I'm sorry you are going through so much. I frequently get those types of headaches and unfortunately most of the time they do not respond to any type of pain med or other kind of treatment. I just do what RD recommended and lay down in the dark with absolute quiet.

I did find that every once in a while Tylenol 8 Hour will help, not regular Tylenol. It doesn't make much sense why but sometimes this is the only thing that will help ease a certain type of headache for me. For some strange unknown reason this has occasionally helped when much stronger prescription pain meds, regular Tylenol, Excedrin, Motrin, Aleve, Advil, etc. didn't. I know it's a long shot but it might be worth a shot.

James, I'm sorry you are so sick but don't think you're on death row although LD can certainly make us feel that way and even worse, if that's possible. I know what you mean about feeling like a zombie and it does suck, all of it does. I'm glad you joined this group and hope you continue to ask questions and read as much as you can on here.

Joining this group was the best thing I ever did. It made me realize that I am not alone and there is hope. The amount of knowledge, compassion and support in this group is unbelievable.

Anyway, I hope you both feel better.

I am very sorry for those of you with headaches. I am so far blessed to be without them, knock on wood, so I don't know what to offer, besides my sincere sympathy!

CajunGrl, I am sorry you had such a nasty headache.  Both Lyme and Babesiosis can cause severe headaches.

I hope it does not come back!

Hey guys, thanks so much for all of your support. Sometimes, I don't need an answer. I just need support and for someone to understand and you all give me that. It's good to have others that understand what you are going through.

I'm going thru this with the very bad headache's right now. I'm on Opana ER 5mg 2X2 and it is not cutting it at all. I have percocet for the break thru pain, but who wants to be on those all the time? It may be from slowly coming off the Lyrica too?? I dunno but I fell so back and I'm at work counting down till I leave!!

I'm finally getting relief after two days. I remember having headaches the last time I was on Antibiotics but it wasn't this bad. I'm just really glad I'm feeling better.

Hopegirl: I'm sorry you have to go through this too. It's one symptom I cannot handle.

I'm happy that your are getting some r-e-l-i-e-f!!! I know they really are the worst. I feel like I am not even myself right now. Pain seems to be connected with my neck and lower back too.

I hope my eases up on me soon.

Yeah, it's really hard to function when your head feels like this.
