Not sure whats going on. I have been having Nuero Baldder problems the last month or so? I have been going numb from the legs up once it hit my Bladder I have been having problems. I can't pee till I am about to  explode and I don't think it all comes out. I don't think I was getting infections because of all the antibiotics I take. But the last 4 Nights I have been getting unbearable pain after I pee. I took enough pain killers last night and finally fell asleep before going to the Emergencey Room. It's such a weird pain I don't have a fever when it happens and it's only at Night.

I am so frustrated with my body right now it feels like it's shuttin down.

I have tried calling all my Local Drs everyone is out of the office today. I think my Nurse Practioner is actually coming into her office just for me so I don't waste a trip to the Emergencey room. She is the best Lady I have ever met in the Medical World. I highly recomend people trying to find a PCP that is a Nurse Practioner run Office, there is no Doctor there she runs her own practice and act's like a real compassionate person who go's out of her way to help people. I think there are only some States that give Nurse practioners enough power to get to have there own Clinics. Sorry alot of topic I just have to Rave about how wonderful she is. Which is very rare for me to be happy with my Medical care where I live.

Any Suggestions?

Are you sure it's kidney stones? Could it possibly be a UTI instead?

I know what it's like to suffer bladder problems due to LD. So sorry you have to deal with this.

I had gall stones & a diseased gall bladder(full of 'sludge' - ick!!) & I was in such severe pain, I couldn't get out of my chair - & VERY nauseous.

Hope this all gets 'righted' soon!!!

As Traveler mentioned, it sounds like it might be UTI. If it is, you might need to be on yet another antibiotic, even if you are taking several different ones for LD. When I first started treatment I had a UTI that did not respond to the first antibiotic my doc prescribed. Nitrofurantin (Macrobid) finally did the trick and so far so good. I thought is was so strange that I could get a UTI while being on such strong antibiotics but obviously it happens.

It's great you have such a fantastic nurse practitioner. Many times they are much better than the docs themselves.

Really Lyme,

What Antibiotic are you currently on? Only certain ones treat bladder infections. For example, Biaxin is used for upper respiratory problems like sinus infections. It is not used for bladder infections.

I get pressure too when I have a UTI. I get them every 3 months and know when I have one. I never get the burning at all. There is something called cystitis that can cause pain and pressure in the bladder. You may want to look that up.

I am also concerned about the numbness in your legs. What did the ER doctor say?
