Can normal blood work indicate anything?

I went to the doctor today for a second Lyme test and asked for my previous results.  The nurse gave me the wrong results!  She gave me my regular blood work results which I had taken at the same time (CBC and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel).  There is nothing on them to even indicate an infection, which was definetly present when the test was done, but I was already told they were normal and just never saw the numbers before.  Is there anything in normal blood work that would indicate Lyme?  I am going to get the correct test results once the new ones come back.  Just wondering if an active Lyme infection would effect the WBC and/or RBC?

All of my results on those tests are always normal. I think in some people there are markers that can indicate there is an infection going on or inflamation in the body. Plenty of people have all of this normal that have Lyme. I think that is why doctors often send us away saying there is nothing wrong with you. It's a really smart bacteria. Hides from abx, tricks your immune sytem too. Don't let normal labs make you second guess yourself.

Hey there.  The lab tests to detect antibodies that the immune system produces to fight Lyme disease are what the physician is looking for. The CBC or Metabolic panel would not give you the information  to help verify a dx of Lymes.
