It may sound really stupid, but 6 months ago I would not have been able to use one of those things at all. I was at a luncheon for volunteers for the local county fair and for fun they had a hula hoop contest. I was on my way to the ladies room and was kind of roped into trying. And I was the winner! I won a unicorn on a stick and a free dinner at a local restaurant. Under the circumstances the past couple of years, (could barely walk at one point) it is really a neat thing to be able to have won! yeah

That is great ttlittlestar!! I could never hula hoop!! even as a kid . Good for you you must of been happy!!!

Hooray! All hail the new hula hoop champion!

It doesn't sound stupid at all. Just think of how happy you would have felt back when you could hardly walk, if you'd known that in a couple of years you'd be winning hula hoop contests!

That is awesome!!!!!! It's not stupid at all. We get to a point where we cannot do anything and when we start feeling better, those little things feel HUGE to us.....and they are!!! You must be so proud of yourself. I'm proud of you! You give us all so much hope. I love hearing these kinds of stories.

Btw, my sauna finally came in and I can't wait to use it!

I just wanted to give you "props" for having the courage to hula hoop in public! I love the hula hoop and must admit that I use mine when I work out, I throw it in the mix. It is a great abdominal workout actually. Again, congrats!

At first I was going to give the unicorn on a stick away, but now I really consider it to be the best trophy ever. I am beating this thing! And I have a unicorn on a stick to prove it!
