Just recently I have been having this pain just behind my right ear and just in front of my ear where my jaw meets my ear.  It comes and goes (not constant) just wondering if anyone with Bell's Palsy had this symptom before they got it?  Also, I've had a weird feeling in my right eye like it's wet and cold air is passing over it.

I've had the ear trouble you've described, but it didn't relate to any numbness in my face. In fact, ear symptoms were some of my earliest problems.

I had a brief and very mild feeling and look of Bell's Palsy several months ago. My Pain Doctor told me I was very lucky that it resolved on its own.

If I touched or rubbed my right eye brow I could feel a tug along my hair line above my right eye, but could not feel anything in the forehead area between my eyebrow and my hairline. My right eyelid drooped very slightly. The droopy eyelid lasted about 2 days and the wierd sensations with my eye brow and hairline lasted about 5 to 7 days. This odd feeling has returned a few times since then, but has been much milder than the first time and has only lasted for one day. The last time I felt this way was well over 2 or 3 months ago. Scared the bejeebies out of me!

Here I am with LD, 40 lbs. over my normal weight, open sores and scabs on my right arm, herpe virus on my top lip and on my left ear lobe, in constant pain, joints grinding and popping away.... and now Bell's Palsy????!!!!! I thank you God that it resolved on its own... I really don't think I could have dealt with another blow from LD.

Please don't think I'm trying to put a damper on your symptoms, but the first thing I thought of was TMJ, when I read your post. LD sometimes causes this too. I have severe problems with it and get pain by my ear and jaw area. Just a thought.

i have tmj, it started back about 15 years ago, but recently started back up bad around 2 years ago.. i haven't had any lock jaw, just when i bite down, my jaw pops out of place.. kinda cool, kinda scary.. i get pain sometimies in my ear, its usually from after sleeping on my ear though.. sometimes is itches in the inner ear, sometimes my face is numb.. i can't explain it, but i guess LD is the reason

Not at all!  My Dentist has allready told me that I have TMJ because of the popping when I open my mouth.  It has never given me any pain at all, just the popping when I chew or open my mouth.  I was just wondering about Bell's Palsy because it is a LD symptom and I've never really heard anyone one here talk about their symptoms.  It's always something isn't it?

It's definitely always something with this disease. I was diagnosed with TMJ years ago. First, I started off with the jaw popping, then the pain by my ear and jaw area accured, and last, I had spasms so bad from clenching my teeth at night, that the shaking of my jaw and chattering of my teeth would wake me up. This all calmed down for a good two years and now all of a sudden it's back again. This disease is a doosey for sure!

Anyway, I've read a few posts about Bells Palsey but not many. I'm curious to know what the symptoms are, if any, right before your face actually droops.
