Is Igenex the only lab to properly determine Lyme?

My best friend has just been diagnosed with Lyme, after working with a CFS specialist who claims that Igenex is the only lab in the U.S. to properly diagnose Lyme.

I had never heard this claim, and wanted to ask some Lyme 'experts' if they know this to be true. I had been tested several times as well, and was never referred to this lab; but i also hear of lots of false negatives (and positives) happening.

I am not an expert on the subject but my personal experiances have been. Always tested Positive from a Local Oregon Lab, from Igenex, and from Stonybrook. They all came back the same. I did just get my first Negative after years of treatment from Stonybrook Lab, not sure what to think of it.

Igenix specializes in Tick Borne Diseases if I underatand right they test for more bands than most labs getting better results. But I don't think any Lyme tests have been proven to be 100% accurate. Lyme Diseases is suppose to be a Clinacle Diagnosis.

I have always been happy with Igenex and Love the work they do for Lyme but not accepting Insurance they have taken way to much of my money.
