Detox Bath Question

I bought all the ingredients to do the detox bath, but haven't started because I'm not sure I'll be able to get out of the tub. I can't be the only one with this issue right? My hands and forearms are so weak and hurt. I have no idea if once I get in, I'll be able to get myself out. LOL ok maybe that's not funny, but I just picture myself stuck there wrinkled. And no, I don't have anyone to help me get out. Any ideas??

I'd suggest starting with foot baths instead - or put a plastic chair in the tub and do a sponge bath sitting on the chair (can do this and still have the bath water in the tub with the detox stuff in the water - let your feet soak in the water and use a washcloth or something to get the water on the rest of you while you sit in the chair)...or use the chair to help pull yourself out of the water. There are also some handlebars that can be suction-cupped to the tub that have rails that go over the side of the tub to give you a better grip when trying to get up out of the tub. Might also be good to see if you can talk someone in to being at your house when you try a tub bath for the first time in case you need help getting out.

I understand what you are talking about with trying to get out of the tub, fortunately my turn with that didn't last long!! I got the giggles (really!!) when the

thought occurred to me that I might not be able to get out of the tub & would have to stay in until hubby got home from work!! I would soooo totally look like a raisin!!!

Razzle had some really great suggestions!!! Maybe you should just start of with a foot bath?? Did you get the ingredients for that as well?

If not, then what Razzle suggested about using a chair to sit in the tub on would be the next easiest, I would think!!

don't worry I'm not stuck in the bath currently. LOL I'm going to look for those bars, but my mom is flying in on Thursday so maybe I'll try on Friday!
