Hey,
The last week I have had a constant zooming in my head, it never stops and well, was wondering if that is a symptom and if any one else has it?

Hi ine,
Can you be more specific about
the noise?

I think I am hearing my hart beat in my head constantly, never stops and its murmuring. Tried to decompress my head ( like when I dive) but nothing was blocked.

Do you have high blood pressure? Hearing your heart beat in your head can be high BP.

No I don't, apart from Lyme I have always been as healthy as an ox, not even a flu.
Soooo weird.
Have doc appointment tom, I will ask.

I have slightly elevated blood pressure and I get the heart beat in the head sometimes. I also have a vein at the bottom of my right ear that hits a nerve and causes the beating sound. If I put pressure on it, it stops. I couldn't figure out what was causing it until the doctor explained.
Btw, good luck with your doctors apt tomorrow:) I hope you can get it figured out.
Another thing I just thought of was sinus pressure. Just a thought.

I have had this head pressure for years never knew how to describe it to drs others than to say that it was if someone was squeezing my head or a freight train running through my head. I still have it and can only say I never feel normal. It can actually make you think you are crazy. The only thing I have found that helps is xanax. I am considering changing drs since I want a brain MRI to see if there are lesions which would cause the headaches, pressure, etc.

yep, I have had the heart beating in my ears and always have ringing in my right ear where I have about
40% less hearing than my left. everything goes off on the right side of my body for me. I'm trying to remember what was different for that
heart beating or like blood pulsing sound that it stopped. I really think being on prednisone stopped it and that is way NOT reccommended. It is scairy, that whole experience because you don't know what it is. It's not one of the more painful experiences.
good luck with the MRI. I came up with nothing twice. once because of my ear and another with a neurologist because of all the migraines asssorted pains. NOTHING. And I had to get medicated with valium for some reason. i couldn't even drive home.

Well, I gave her the guidelines and she put me on 400mg of Doxycycline for a month and I have an appointment with an arthritis specialist for the joint pains. Tom I am calling the LLMD that I found from a member on the Eurolyme forum and I will go and see him when he is free, I believe he is saturated!!! ;-) So far I feel good with the antibiotics and the rash is disappearing. So little by little getting there. I am also following Dr Burrascano's advice on diet and exercise and taking all the supplements he recommends.
How are you going? Back on the antibiotics?
