Nation-wide recall of Tylenol Arthritis

Hi Traveler,

I heard something on the news a while back about Tylenol and how it is really bad for a person, affecting their liver.   Glad I'm an Advil person when I have a really severe headache!

That is crazy. The FDA really needs to crack down on these types of problems. Quality control for something like tylenol is quite easy and the fact that this has happened shows a major break down in the production process.

If Tylenol is used regularly, it really can cause liver damage. I will use tylenol, but only when it is in combo with other stronger prescription pain killers- that way I don't get too much.

Thanks for asking CG!! I hope you are doing well!! I've been feeling a little bit icky - for a number of reasons I suspect. The main one is the change of eating habits forced on me when I had the last of my bottom teeth pulled & then the dentist had to do some grinding on the bone - ouchy!! I'm sure I will be back in the middle of things soon enough though!!!!

I get weekly notifications from the FDA about these recalls. It get pretty scary when you see all of the things that get recalled, even medical equipment that is 'installed' in people!!!
