Hi dlancer!!!
Welcome to our forum!!! Sorry that you are in such a position with your health - we understand how frustrating that can be. I'm sure you will find a lot of info available & caring people who can really understand what you may be going through!
The best thing I could do to answer your questions, in to direct you to the sticky at the top of the forum entitled :"New to Lyme? Start here". There you will find a symptom list, and a great deal of information to get you started towards understanding what you may be dealing with.
If you are dealing with Lyme Disease & it's co-infections, your blood tests coming back "normal" has no bearing on whether or not you truly have a tick-born infection. This dreaded 'disease' can hide in the body for years before symptoms appear. Even the CDC tells docs that Lyme patients should be evaluated CLINICALLY, not just by blood tests. I have been infected for many years (without realizing what I was dealing with) and it took an entire year on strong antibiotics before I had a blood test come back pos. for any tick-borne infections. Unfortunately, that is fairly common for those with LD to go un-treated &/or under-treated for many years before realizing what is really going on.
The symptoms you mentioned aren't enough for anyone to say for sure that you are infected with Lyme (or any other TBI's), but it's definitely worth a good hard look, as LD IS treatable, even in it's chronic form!!
I hope this is enough info to get you started - you should be 'hearing' from others soon as well!
Peace ~
Trav
In the thread I mentioned, you will find links to pics of rashes associated with TBI's (tick-borne infections), as well as a lot of info about the individual infections that tag along with Lyme Disease.
You should get a copy of all blood work done & to come, as that will help us help you to know just what was 'found' in your blood work.
