Hyberbaric/Lyme and Lyme/contagious

The most recent studies that I have read suggest that the POSSIBILITY of TBI's being able to be passed sexually. There have also been recent studies where 'they' have proven that TBI's can be passed from mother to fetus.

I'm a firm believer that each and every person who contracts TBI's will require a treatment that is as unique as the individual who is being treated. TBI's like to 'use' the weakest points in our bodies to get in & so the patient will have a more difficult time in those areas. For me, it's my digestive system & joints.

I agree w/ Traveler - one must read and come to one's own conclusions. There are case reports of transmission through the birth canal from mother to fetus, or through breastmilk. There are no official studies regarding sexual transmission that I know of, but given the relation between Lyme and Syphillis, I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible in some specific/rare cases (such as if a person was immune-compromised).

HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) for Lyme: I've heard mixed results like everything else used to treat Lyme...some swear by it. However, I've also heard that if one has mercury toxicity that the HBOT is not a good idea.....
