Hi All,

 I was dx with Ulcertive colitis 5 years ago, I'm sure it's from Lyme's or it's a side effect of Lyme's, Babesia and have Chylamida Phenomia (NOT STD) . Well I notice when I stop taking probiotics my bleeding stops and my bowel problems in the morning aren't as bad. I still spend a hour running back and forth to the bathroom going poo, mostly mush that is long and skinny. I have a accident of diarreah pooh every two weeks, I can't for the life of me hold it back, it just comes out no matter how hard I try to hold it back. Why??Could someone be allergice to probiotics? I've tried several different kinds and companies. I always seem to bleed.

Next it seems like since being on antibiotics my left eye is very blurry. Has anyone had eye problems? It's like one day I noticed the vision is really bad!

I'm on a weekly shot of Bicillin, and a daily dose of Zithromax (one 250mg pill)

Please let me know your thoughts.

As far as the probiotics & issues there, I'm thinking you could be allergic to dairy products, or at least have a good sensitivity to it???? I know for me, I have days where I can actually feel when I need to stay away from all dairy, other days, I have no problems at all no matter how much dairy I take in. An elimination 'diet' would probably tell a lot.

Sorry I'm not of any help on the other issues you posted, but I have only used Doxy & Mino during my time with TBI's.

OMG. Therearemiracles, three weeks after starting zithromax my left eye has been blurry and I have increasing pain and burning on left side of face. It has sent me into a tizzy, to a neuro, getting an mri revealing brain lesions, etc. Now someone who has lyme for years is telling me it could jsut be a herx. How is your eye???

Miracles, by chance is yogurt one of the probiotics you have tried? Once, back in the day when I was healthy, I had about a month of diahwhatever -- not near as severe as yours, but enough that I figured I'd better start getting concerned. (my diet was good!) I started eating yogurt every day and it went away, pronto.

But then again, if this is something you've tried, then maybe you do have a dairy problem.

If you are lactose intolerant google lactose free probiotics and you'll find tons of them. One very good brand, a bit expensive, is Custom Probiotics http://www.customprobiotics.com/ .

Because you have Ulcertive colitis you may want to consider these products. I've taken both of them and they are good products and hypoallergenic too:

Yes, abx can for sure cause vision problems. If you go to webmd.com and type in the abx you're using there will be a list of side effects that it can cause. Another good place is http://www.drugs.com/. This is also good for finding out what drugs interact with one another too. Very helpful.

I take a couple ounces of mangosteen juice in the morning mixed with water as I've heard it can help eye blurriness. It does seem to help me with this issue.

My eyes is still blurring and the right one has a floater. I'm on a ton of antibiotics right now for my Lyme's. I just started Flagyl too. I get the bicillin shot, zithromax and now flagyl. I was doing great, until I threw Flagyl in. It may take my body some time to get use to it. I'm taking it for my chlymadia phenomia, (its not a STD) so hopefully I will see some improvement here soon.

I'm doing the Oxy Aloe Flush and love this product! I will add in probiotics in a couple more weeks.
