I don't know how common it is, but it is possible for ANY antibiotic to cause C. Diff. Are you taking probiotics to reduce the chances of getting C. Diff.?

C. Diff. is Claustridium Difficile, a bacteria that causes pseudomembranous colitis, a known side-effect of antibiotics. Different medication (flagyll, etc.) is needed to get rid of C. Diff.
