I guess you could say I have chronic lyme since 2004.   Though undiagnosed and diagnosed as CFS, EBV and CMV.   I found treatment in 2006.   I did about 90 days of ceftin.   500mg per day.   It did amazing things for me, I was symptom free until maybe around late 08-09.     I decided I want to start antibiotics now.   My problem as always will be getting treatment from Non-LLMD.   I usually have to be the guide and if I am going to be guide, what would you ask for - - for say mild, Lyme.   If there is such a thing.   The bottom line is whatever I had before, I don’t want ever again and I can say without a shadow of doubt, antibiotics help me.     Let’s say I can get whatever I want, would you go for CEFTIN since it worked before, or would you consider it burned?   Would you go for DOXYCYCLINE?   I thought I read that treatment is best with another antibiotic with it.     Let’s say I only get a month’s worth, it helps me for a month, am I setting myself up for let’s say a drug resistant Lyme bacteria coming back full force with no treatment?   Please help guide me, I don’t have an LLMD.   Thanks!

I appreciate your good advice! No worries about you not being a doctor...

I think i should find a LLMD and then fear it will be the same old thing i've been through with previous 5 doctors. 

I did get a list from someone for LLMD's in MN, and maybe i should pick one from it and try it one more time.  What makes it harder this time is i feel only mildly sick right now.  Who wants to treat someone who just feels mildly sick- i could hardly find help when i felt like i was just disappearing.

for me.. EDTA IV chelation 3 hours followed by 500mg of Zethromax worked wonders. but all IV for 8 weeks got me going. I am trying to do a little more but $$$$. But my energy has been great. after 8 weeks 3x a week
and also heavy metal DMSO detox , I did 4 times

Also rife machine about 6 times. also little ozone blood about 4 times.

a few other things but the anti biotic was zethromax but only after cheltion to open up the cells.

I would seriously wait until you get a llmd.  Lyme if very adaptive and stopping treatment without fully eliminatingn is dangerous.  many say that also encourages it to develop biofilms.  If you can afford, get some lumbrokinaise and take 2 45 mins before every antibiotic dose. This is similar to the edta iv chelation below, probably also helped break down biofilms, but iv is expensive.

thanks everyone. 

well, i just did a round of 6 pack azithromycin (just cuz i had it for sinus) and it sure made me feel worse.  timing couldn't be worse either with weaning and pms and i suppose exerice i've been doing.  and maybe even allerigies. 

but today i will begin the only other anitbiotic i have which is minocycline.100mg.  x2 daily. 

I am trying to reach a llmd though.  and have ordered the igenex test since other tests taken, i don't trust them. 

even if i start to feel better again.. i will continue to seek LLMD treatment.
