My b/f got a tick off me Sunday night or Monday night, Wed. morning I woke up throwing up and then this morning around 3 I had the runs. I'm still not 100%. I did noticed tonight when I went to take my shower there is a rasied red mark in the area where the tick was.

I have Fibro so if there is any strange pain right now I wouldn't really know.

Could this be the start of Lyme Diease? I noticed that they say one thing Dr does is put you on Antiboatics. so I looked and had some strong ones from when I had strip earlier this year just to get something started in my system till I can get to Dr on Sunday, I have also noticed a weird taste in my mouth.

It definitely could be lyme disease. You really need to make an appt with a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) to get a proper diagnosis. I wouldn't experiment with abx and hope it goes away if I were you. If it's a recent bite your LLMD will put you on Doxy for a few weeks or possible up to three to six months depending on his/her diagnosis.

Do yourself a BIG favor and make an appt with an LLMD asap. This disease is nothing to play around with. Properly treated, you can spare yourself years of misery with a proper diagnosis and early treatment. If you are going to self treat (which I don't recommend) then the abx you should be taking is Doxy. Is that what you're taking now?

It'd be a good idea to take a picture of the red spot or of any rash that develops.  Appts can take a while and not all Dr's are well versed in Lyme disease.  Sometimes there is a "we don't have Lyme here" attitude.  Anyways, it could be very useful to have a photo to document it.

I can't afford an LLMD but I was going to go to urgent care dr. tomorrow. I watch children for a living and don't have insurance nor do I have alot of money.
No not going to self med. but saw that Dr gives antibotics and decided something for now was better than nothing.
