bad/weird taste in my mouth

Hey guys I have had lyme and coinfecs for 9 yrs now since I was a kid. I have posted here before and you have always been so helpful. I have migraines horrible pain in pretty much my whole body all the time and stomach problems also, nausea stomach pain and weight loss also. I having taken like every antibiotic from omnicef to PICC lines and right now I am on amoxicillin and zithromax. I have had thrush like 3 times this year and always got really swollen glands, a horrible sore throat and that awful white gook/cottage cheese type stuff in my mouth and on my tounge I would also get this horrible taste in my mouth. Anyways lately like the last couple of months I have noticed a really bad/weird taste im my mouth like all the time. It just taste like rotten kind of sour and yucky ya know? I brush my mouth and use mouth wash 3 times a day so I think it is the lyme or maybe a yeast,thrush thing? P.S I take over 30billion acidohilis a day. Please help I need advice or suggestions! There's another thread titled "White tongue" which I believe is a sign of yeast. I believe what you are experiencing is most likely yeast related to. I copied and pasted what I said on the other thread because I believe this answer applies to you as well.

White tongue is usually a sign of yeast. Has your LLMD given you any anti-yeast medication? There's a natural medicine (botanical) that my wife took for yeast and it cleared it up in a week.

This was the only product in many years of suffering with yeast issues that finally took care of it.

If you don't care to use natural medicine for this, tell your LLMD what's going on and he/she will prescribe you some Nystatin or Diflucan.

Take tons of probiotics in the morning when you first get up and before you go to bed. Some people open a probiotic capsule (or two) and put the powder in their mouth and brush the inside of their mouth and gums to get the flora back in their mouth.

I agree with Gary.

Drinking liquid chlorophyll may also help - this is what makes plants green and it can help detox the body and bring oxygen to the tissues. This fights yeast. It also deodorizes the body.

Here I go again, but have you tried a more 'complete' probiotic? one that has much more than just acidophilus? You'll most likely need to go to a health food store to get some, but well worth the trip! You could also try Kefir - it kept the thrush at bay for me each time that I have used it. Kefir can usually be found in larger chain grocery stores, or a health food store - or you can 'grow' your own (this is what I do).... just a thought.
