igenex urinary challenge

hi everyone,

quick question for those of you have done igenex lab testing or anyone who has a comment.

My new Dr is having me do a urinary challege test with igenex.  i am going to do protocol #2...doxy, flagyl and zithro combinations to increase odds of reaction and provoke it..  the idea then the dead bacteria can be detected in the urine samples.  3 are taken during the week. 

Its gonna cost me $400.. worth it if it works i guess but, if you were me would you want to spend your money on their blood tests vs urine tests, if you could choose?  wonder which is more reliable. i really want to be sure ya know.  thanks for your comments!

I'd recommend asking IGeneX for their opinion on which is more accurate/reliable - blood WesternBlot vs. urine. Ask the same from your doctor too. But I would think either would be better after a short period of abx because the abx can draw out the body's immune system to generate antibodies. I know for me, I didn't get a CDC positive WesternBlot until I'd been on Buhner's core protocol herbs...before that, I had 2 WB Lyme tests and both were negative by CDC standards.

I am another one that had to be on abx before I was able to have a positive WB.

For someone who only has Band 41 positive, I am interested in trying this. Traveler, how long did you take the abx and what dosage, before you got your positive results? Thanks so much~ D
