IVIG and ABs?

I would like to hear about people who did/do IVIG with ABs.
A neurologist told me, she never gave IVIG when somebody is taking ABs.

I'm interested in this too. I'm currently working with a LLMD and taking ABX, my Neurologist has recommended IVIG treatment. When I mentioned this to my LLMD, they were not opposed to doing the ABX and IVIG simultaneously, however I have decided to defer the IVIG until after the ABX.

I have severe neuropathy (numbness and tingling) over most of my body. I had a lumbar puncture this past January which revealed 3 oligloclinal bands indicating possible MS. They also discovered lympocytes (killer t-cells) in my spinal fluid. My Neurologist believes that my immune system may be damaging my nerves and suggested the IVIG to help reset my autoimmune system. I'm still testing Igm positive for lyme on my western blot.

What is your situation and why are you considering IVIG?
