Maybe I'm wrong, but I think Denise was mainly "looking out for you" and trying to emphasize the importance of not minimizing this disease (the effects it's having on you). That was my interpretation, but if I'm wrong I'm sure Denise will set me straight.
We just don't want you to think your disease isn't significant even if you aren't having as bad of symptoms as some others here. We didn't all start off feeling like @#*%!, it was gradual until we got to the point where we felt we couldn't live like this anymore. Sadly, as you probably read, there's been three suicides recently from people who couldn't take it anymore.
Anyway, I don't think you offended Denise, or anyone else here (you didn't me), we just want you to be cautious and be very careful about
what your non-lyme doctors tell you. They mean well, for the most part, but they are extremely ignorant about
this disease. We have to look out for ourselves as no one else is going to do it for us. We're here to help and Denise is the nicest person you'll get to know here. All is fine--relax and let it go as it isn't any big deal at all. :- )
More later--gotta run!
God bless!
Gary
