Lee, sorry I didn't e-mail you back yet, I will.   No, one month is not going to accomplish much.  It takes about 8 to 10 months total if followed correctly.   When I followed Dr. J's "healing at home" protocol it was from his first book so many products that are available now were not available back then such as the Lymogen, etc.  Back then there was no Perfect 7 protocol.  

I took his Borrelogen and CNS/PNS Neuro-Antitox Formula (which was Pale Spike Lobelia and Silphitrin).   If you don't have his book "Beating Lyme Disease" then I suggest buying it (soft cover is less  money). 

Taking the botanicals was the easy part, it's the heavy detoxing that takes much time and must be done on a daily basis.  Detox Baths, detox foot baths, dry skin brushing are biggies as well as diet.  Eventually I bought a portable infrared sauna, still continue to do coffee enema's (took me a long time to do that!), and I bought extra supplements such as Green Vibrance (contains many vitamins and minerals), Aloe Master, and more.  

I did feel better within 1 month after taking the Borrelogen which is why I continued the protocol.  After being bedridden most of the time, I was surprised that I could do light exercising.  This protocol can take longer for some people to work as everyone is different.   Also makes a huge difference if one was on antibiotics and that can be another obstacle, I happened to start with a "clean" body.   I know of some that went on Dr. J's protocol who were on antibiotics but only to help wean themselves off antibiotics.  

Patti, can you dry skin brush and do the foot baths?  I remember reading that you were spending about $300.00 a month, I was spending $100.00 for 2 of his products (Borrelgen and Neuro-Antitox).  Later on I switched to the Microbojen. 

Dr. J's protocol addresses all aspects, not just the body.  For example, I had to learn how to reduce my stress levels as I knew that would be a stumbling block for me..  I had financial problems, problems with my family, etc. and thanks to friends on another forum, I learned how to deal with everything in a more positive way.

Do you have any head pressure with your headaches? Any heart palpitations? Reason I ask, if you are experiencing any of these symptoms you may have ammonia in your brain, and probably heart and other organs in your body too. The Antitox Basic should be OK, but if you are having any of the above symptoms maybe get the Antitox Cardio next time as it works specifically on ammonia in the brain, heart and other organs.

Good idea about the detox baths several times a week! Keep at it and things will get better in time.

When I was at the Hansa Center I tested very high for ammonia. Most lymies test high for ammonia and need to get it out of their bodies as it is a horrible toxin to have and causes all kinds of miserable symptoms like the ones you are experiencing.

Are you referring to the Transformation TFF Enzymes? If so, yes, absolutely start on those. They help clean up the blood and clean your kidneys and helps break through the biofilms so that the remedies work more effectively. The enzymes are so very important. I take two a day, one in the morning, one hour before breakfast, and one at night, one hour before dinner. But if the instructions are different in the book then just follow whatever it says.

Do everything you can according to the instructions as that's how you will have the most success in improving. Deejavu (Denise) is proof of that. She followed the home protocol and got well within 8-9 months following the instructions in the book. Is that what you are using for your protocol, "Beating Lyme Disease" by Dr. David Jernigan? I am still doing the protocol at home but mine is more customized because I went to the HC and got tested. So some of what I take may be a little bit different than what you take. When do you start on the Microbojen and Borrelogen? Those are the two I've been taking and have been doing very well with them.

Anyway, keep it up and as time goes on you will start feeling better and better. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I'm using Jernigan's products also. My eyes were very sore and light sensitive. The Neurotox Antitox CNS/PNS has really helped and with a few weeks. I went off it to use something else for a month and some of the discomfort worsened. It has not totally taken the photosensitivity away, but it is doable now.

Hi Gary...I read the article "Ammonia in the Brain" and shed so much light on my symptoms. I now understand why i feel so deathly ill when barometric pressure changes. Today is one of those days, my face is throbbing and and i have horrible hip pain.

I wanted to ask you a question, please. In my protocol instructions, step three says to use TPP protease, however it's not sold on the website. Are you using this product? and if yes, where do you purchase it?

Anyway, I'm off to do my detox rituals...

Hello Gary...It's so wonderful that you are out doing things! god bless.

I'm having a bit of a rough time. I think i woke up a sleeping monster and it's fighting back. I've been in intense pain and sleeping all the time. I read somewhere that Bartonella can do this when it's being treated. I'm backing off for a few days in hopes that the symptoms will improve, but not really sure what to do next.

Please let me know if you ever felt this sort of reaction?

Hi DocGP...It hit me hard!!! Having a very intense reaction. My bones are throbbing, I have fever and sleep constantly. I read in one of Buhner's articles that Bartonella can be evil when it's awakened. Since I was on Lymogen, which is for Bartonella, i suspect maybe that is what's going on. It's been several days and the bone pain is less acute, but still there. The fever is not helping either, since we are having a heat wave in Los Angeles. Oh well...just have to wait it out i guess.

I welcome any helpful hints...

Hi Denise, i hope this is not a duplicate, I seem to be having a glitch with this site. I have been detoxing like crazy. I did a long bath with Ozone oil, which definitely took the edge off. I have more energy today. However the weather changed and I'm very ache. I will continue detoxing, because it really helps the symptoms.
