Anyone familiar with sarcoidosis

Anyone familiar with sarcoidosis and what the symptoms are? It is supposed to be a tick borne disease.

I think I remember reading that it could be caused by mycoplasma or other infections... One of my doctors was once considering this as a diagnosis for me, but then he changed his mind after some additional testing (I don't know what test result caused him to change his mind...like everyone else, they all tell me I have autoimmune diseases but the tx for that - immune suppression - just makes me sicker)

Yes, this link talks about an association possible between Bb (amongst a lengthy list of other infections) & Sarcoidosis.

As Razzle pointed out, doctors don't actually know what causes sarcoidosis, but it can be a nasty disease. There are also skin-only versions, such as lupus pernio (which is not related to lupus, so I don't know where the name came from).

I just read this womans blog and I would put money on the fact that I bet her beautiful old house has a mold issue. I have a cousin with sarcoidosis of the lungs that started after moving to a moldy house. I hope her new home will make her health better. I have never heard that sarcoidosis is tick related...only that is has to do with toxins, so I supposed Lyme would fit that description as well.  D
