got my blood tested my epstein barr virus is 600 normal is 16.   i feel the same as I always do with my usual lyme. has anyone heard of any connection between epstein and autoimmune diseases? thanks I looked it up and it was conflicting.

This might be a good question to ask on the Chronic Fatigue forum since EBV is common in people with CFS. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be a very active forum.

Maybe people with CFS have even less energy than we do?

There's a good group of chronic fatigue members on the immune support site, just google it, look under message boards, then pick chronic fatigue. I used to go there before I was diagnosed with ms then lyme.

Over 90 % of the U.S. population is infected with EBV (including me). EBV is the virus that causes "Mono".

No one has, as of yet, been able to determine whether our immune systems are compromised by a virus or other thing, bringing our immune systems down, so that then we are susceptible to contracting Lyme & other tick-born infections, or if the tick-born infections drag our immune systems so low that we contract these types of viruses. The old "Which came first, the chicken or the egg" situation.

i love Master's quote its appropriate for everything in life. How have u been feeling? My gf says i am ornery, I get sick of being sick duh huh? my muscle thumps are out of control and my left leg wants to retire the knee wants to be buried. hopefully tomorrow will be better. We have onfirmed deaths from enchephaltis in MI 3 horses in our county and I think maybe 2 people? anyway I have to find somewhere that still has an equine vaccine as I am one vaccine short for our horses I hope i feel good enough tomorrow to drive to the moon , hope alls well lisa
