rife machine treatment for my eleven year old daughter

Hi...friends of ours who are suffering from Lyme's have been able to connect with a woman in the area who is letting people use her rife machine and also another machine (don't know name) that puts sound waves into the air that attack the bacteria in the body that has lymes.  We went last Friday night and sat in their living room and just talked while the machine ran its course.  We sat there for two hours.  During that time my daughter said she could feel a tingling sensation in both her arms and after a while she could feel some sensations in her stomach (often where the lymes starts for her).  We thought that was great because we figured the waves were causing the bacteria irritation or were actually getting rid of them.  She slept that night the best she has in a long while.  She woke the next morning doing great!  By Sunday night she was sick again and has been for the past two days.  She feels awful.  So...my question...has anyone else done the rife machine or a similar machine to what I am explaining?  Is it a good sign she is sick?  We had been told that this treatment should not have adverse affects, but as we are grasping more and more it is just different for everyone.  We have the opportunity to use this machine every Friday night so I am wondering if we should continue.  We are concerned that she will continue to be good after the treatment and then sick by Monday when she has school.  She has missed quite a bit of school this year already and it has come to the point that she often has to go even if sick to try to keep up with her studies.  Thanks for any feedback.

Feel terrible to know what your daughter is going through.  My son started on the rife/coil machine 4 months ago.  At first, he got no reaction in using the machine until we found out we were using it incorrectly.  Then, only after using the machine for 15 sec. he began getting reactions.  Then I knew he was responding the way he should. He is now using it for 28 minutes at a time and gets sick that evening or early the next day.  Some of his symptoms are even worse after using the machine than before rifing. From what we have learned, it sounds like your daughter is responding the way she should after rifing, however, we don't know anything about the type of machine she is using. Make sure she drinks as much water as she can just before rifing.

Thanks so much for your response. It helps to know that it may be normal and gives me encouragement to continue it. It is just so frustrating to keep trying different things and just not being sure if they are working. Like I said...it always seems when she gets sicker it is always during school which is hard. But...we will continue on and just take it one day at a time. Thanks so much for your response. It is encouraging. We hope your son continues to feel stronger and that the disease is put into permanent remission (which I guess would be a cure!!!) God's blessing on you.

Welcome to our forum!! I am sorry that your daughter is ill, but I am glad you found us!! I personally have no experience with the rife or any other machine used in this way, but wanted to welcome you.

Isn't the rife supposed to kill the bacteria? If so, your daughters' reaction is known as a Herxheimer Reaction, which is an increasing of existing symptoms or even the start of new symptoms. This happens because her body is suddenly being overwhelmed with the toxins created by the dying bacteria. She should be doing all she can to detox. There is some great info about some different things she can do to detox posted in the thread at the top of the forum titled "New to Lyme?...Start Here". She should do these things on a regular basis from now on. Detoxing will not completely stop the symptoms, but it will most likely reduce them quite a bit.
